Camp du Nord

We first went to family camp when Mark was a baby, our 6 under 6 summer of 2006. We went in holding our breath a bit, will this work? And it was the first of many unforgettable summers. Family style eating, prayer before meals, Eco conscious families, hiking & paddling to work off the amazing food: it is a little slice of heaven in the North woods.
WOW have they grown:) We don't think Markie will fit next time

This year we went with Sheff's mom and husband Michael, it was a treat to see camp through new eyes. We were so grateful for the external planning from age groups for each kid to song and skit nights. Sipping wine in a log cabin after a day of family fun is a true summer highlight.

Sheff's highlight, James & John got along!
This year 6 of the 8 are strong swimmers so the saunas and blast into the lake were awesome. Sheff and I did the couples sauna. Steaming it up at over 200 degrees and then slicing into a dark lake lit by the moon? We felt a sense of true well being. Until next time!
